Cinnamon Queen chickens are derived from crossing Rhode Island Red roosters to Rhode Island White hens. The cross produces chicks that are color sexable. Males are yellow and females reddish colored. As adults the hens are reddish with some white feathering, while males are mostly white with some red feathering on their wings.
This breed is well known for it's early maturity and high productivity. Hens can produce in excess of 300 light brown eggs per year.
The Cinnamon Queen is available February-September.
